Big Bang Events was formed in 1998 in London by current Managing Director Alison Welsh, inspired by her passion for creating dazzling events. From her wealth of experience within the corporate events sector, Alison believed  that there was a desperate need for a full-service events supplier that could provide both the creative inspiration and range of event services demanded by a blue chip client base.

Harnessing all her experience and contacts, Alison then set out to form a company that had the capability to deliver her vision. She recruited only the best staff and integrated a team of high calibre suppliers to ensure that the Big Bang strapline - Creating Exceptional Events - became the company's mantra.

A Big Bang Event is instantly recognisable for its attention to detail - a skill which most clearly manifests itself in the spectacular decoration of Big Bang's venues. Whatever the theme, every detail is taken care of, with the finishing touches for which Big Bang has become famous - including ice sculptures, chocolate fountains and of course the balloon displays featured on this site.

The Party Box division, providing gift boxes, handmade crackers, balloons and corporate gifts, has been an integral element of the business from the start, and enables clients to add some of the Big Bang magic to their own events.

The signing of an exclusive contract with the Cannon Bridge Rood Garden in the heart of London proved a pivotal point in the company's history. With breathtaking views of The City, Alison has developed the venue into one of London's most desirable party locations attracting a blue-chip client base in the process. Big Bang Events soon became synonymous with flair, luxury and even a hint of indulgence. Before too long, the events media began to take notice and word of mouth and reputation did the rest.

Now Big Bang Events is taking a further step forward with the launch of this site, allowing events and party organisers to literally buy into that Big Bang magic. With striking balloons, handmade crackers, and beautiful gifts and party boxes, there's something on the site guaranteed to add fun and glamour to any party or event.
